Experimentation

We know we don't know everything and we like to learn,
so we study, experiment, and test

Old Concepts, New Methods

The vast majority of our mushrooms are grown on logs. This is far from a new concept, as mushrooms have been growing naturally on logs for millions of years. Beyond natural growth, humans have been cultivating mushrooms on logs with various methods for thousands of years.

We strive to build upon ancient methods to provide natural and sustainable strategies for mushroom production.

How We Learn

Much of our knowledge comes from predecessors and experience. We research what other experts in our field are doing and develop our own unique techniques and improvements. Failure is a part of any cash-crop business; we learn from our mistakes so you don’t have to.

Why We Share

Many companies are fond of their trade secrets. That’s not in our nature.

Much of our knowledge and experience we make publicly and freely available, but what you can’t learn from us online you can learn through contacting us or participating in one of our courses.

We believe that everything we know will eventually be known regardless, so we don’t hoard information. We just encourage you to take one of our courses so we can share our knowledge in the fullest capacity!
